Water


Tap water can be drunk all over Sweden. However, in our large cities it is cleansed with chlorine, so, it could taste strange to some.

Fresh water from most lakes, rivers, streams and springs can be used for drinking without previously preparing it in any way. Signs will mark out the opposite.

Swedish spring water

Edin and Källan. Both come in a practical 1 litre tetra pak.

Imported spring water

From Southern Europe there is, to mention but two; the Evian and Volvic to choose from. Both come in 1,5 litres plastic bottles.

Carbonated

Ramlösa, Loka and Linné are but a few of the wide variety of brands of carbonated water you can choose from.
