Even though the town was partly destroyed by fires several times during the centuries, have many of its old buildings survived to the present day. Worth a visit are the two old mansions, Vågmästaregården and Dalgrensgården, both from the 18th century. Also worth a visit is the Örnäs park with a small zoo and an old homestead museum.
